MRI Report

Wonderful news!! Late this afternoon I received a call from the pediatrician's office. The MRI report was fine revealing no abnormalities in Maggie's brain that would be the cause of her headaches. The doctor did say that Maggie does have a Chiari 1 Malformation which basically means the cerebellum is a little lower than where it typically sits in relationship to the brain stem. (I'm reading up on this on the internet to better understand exactly what it is.) He said this is not an uncommon finding in MRI's. He does not feel, however, that this malformation would cause headaches. Needless to say we are thankful to know what is NOT the cause of Maggie's headaches and rejoicing once again at God's grace and mercy. Maggie's own pediatrician will be in the office tomorrow and call me to discuss what we should do from here. Thank you for once again carrying us to the throne of grace. Your prayers were heard and answered... Maggie and I both were at peace before, during and after the scan and the MRI report was good!! PTL!!

Maggie RHS Homecoming 2008

I guess I have to admit that my little Maggie has grown up on me. It's hard to believe that this beautiful girl is the same extremely active little toddler who we fondly referred to in China as Xiao Mafan translated "small trouble". It was a fun weekend getting ready for Maggie's first high school dance . Kate came home for the occasion and loved on her little sister well by doing her hair and make up.

Maggie & Josh enjoyed a fun evening together at Homecoming
