HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! 2011

Happy New Year!! We trust that you and yours enjoyed a wonderful and blessed Christmas. 2010 was a busy but blessing filled year for the Dillon girls. We marvel at the evidences of God's faithfulness, grace and mercy in our lives each day. The words of one of Chris Tomlin's newest songs capture so well our overwhelming sense of awe in the faithfulness of our God. "I lift my hands to believe again. You are my refuge. You are my strength. As I pour out my heart, these things I remember. You are faithful, God, forever. Let faith arise!"
We received the best Christmas present of all on December 20th with Kate's clear MRI scan. We rejoice and celebrate God's goodness and His continued hand print of healing on Kate and the miracle of her life. Despite a tough course load this semester in her Social Work major, Kate had her best semester thus far academically. It is truly God's grace which allowed her to triumph over the learning/processing difficulties, residual effects of her treatment.
Miss Maggie is loving learning to drive far more than I like being in the passenger seat!! Her junior year of high school is going well. During Christmas break they began practices for this year's musical Guys and Dolls. She is a dance captain this year and also has a small speaking part. She thrives on the singing, dancing and drama. As much as she sings the songs from the musical and dances around the house, we are sure to know the songs as well, by show time in March.
We enjoyed many special visits along the way in 2010 with friends and family both far and near. Whether by email, blog, phone or personal visits we are grateful that we can keep in touch despite the distance that separates us. Wishing you a 2011 filled with the gift of God's love, the blessing of the hope we have because of Him and the promise of His peace!
